SMS Opt-In Notice
We only send text messages to individuals who have provided their mobile number and given express written consent to receive SMS communications from Lewis Furniture & Appliance.
Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any text to unsubscribe immediately. You will receive one confirmation message, then no further texts.

Message & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your preferences and interactions.
Your mobile number and SMS consent records are stored securely within our CRM platform. We do not sell or rent your mobile number to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share SMS records with our CRM software provider acting as our data processor on our behalf.
SMS opt-in consent is separate from and does not affect your ability to make purchases. Consent is never required as a condition of any purchase or service.
Managing Email Preferences
We may also send you promotional emails. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link displayed in any email we send you. If you opt out of promotional emails, we may still send non-promotional messages, such as order confirmations, shipping notifications, or account-related communications.

What the Meta Pixel Collects

How We Use This Data

Custom Audiences

Before upload, all data is hashed (cryptographically encrypted) — it is never transmitted to Meta in plain text. Meta uses it solely to match against its own user database for ad targeting.

CRM & Marketing Automation Platforms
We use third-party software to manage customer relationships, send communications, and automate marketing workflows. These may include GoHighLevel (HighLevel) and similar platforms, which act as our data processors — handling your information only on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions.
Information you submit through our website forms, chat widgets, or landing pages may be stored in these platforms and used to: maintain your contact record; send automated email or SMS follow-up messages (with your consent); log interactions with our communications; and assign leads to team members for follow-up.
By submitting a form on our Site, you acknowledge that your information will be processed through our CRM platform in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

- CRM and marketing platforms: Acting as processors on our behalf (see Section 7)
- At your direction: When you request or consent to disclosure, including through social media widgets or login integrations
- Affiliates: Within our corporate group as applicable
- Legal compliance: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental authority; to enforce our terms; or to protect the safety or rights of users, us, or others
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of business assets

International Transfers
Please be aware that we may transfer, store, and process your personal information outside the country in which you reside. This occurs primarily because our service providers — including Woocommerce — operate globally.
If we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we will rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or equivalent contracts issued by the relevant competent authority of the UK, unless the transfer is to a country that has been determined to provide an adequate level of protection.
For most customers in the United States, your data is processed domestically or in countries with equivalent data protection practices through Woocommerce ‘s infrastructure.

Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Factors we consider include whether we need the information to maintain your account, provide Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our policies. As a general guide:
- Customer purchase records are retained for at least 7 years for tax and legal compliance purposes
- Marketing contact records are retained until you opt out of all communications
- SMS opt-in and opt-out records are retained for a minimum of 5 years to demonstrate TCPA compliance
- Promotion entry records are retained for a minimum of 1 year after the promotion closes
- Account data is retained until you request deletion, subject to any legal hold requirements

If you have a complaint about how we process your personal information, please contact us first. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to appeal our decision or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of majority in their jurisdiction (generally 13 in the United States). As of the effective date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we “sell” or “share” (as defined under applicable law) the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details in Section 17 to request its deletion.

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include HTTPS encryption on our Site, access controls limiting who can view customer data, use of reputable third-party platforms with established security programs, and hashing of customer contact data before transmission to advertising platforms.
Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We also recommend that you do not use unsecured channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials — we highly recommend not sharing your username, password, or other access details with anyone.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will post the revised Policy on this page and update the “Last Updated” date at the top. For material changes, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
